1.* 02-15-98 Beech Street Club, San Francisco
with Who is John Galt?
Some woman from Stockton (yes, we found that out later) danced and flashed us with her breasts and caused a few problems with everybody at the club
that night. What a first show!
2.* 02-20-98 The Fatty Mocha, Merced

with Cell Block 5, Pimp Juice 7, and Gutterburn
The first road trip. I think that it took us 4 hours to get there, being stuck in afternoon traffic.
Here is the first live shot of Left Out Lamont - Dave's drums! (yes he is playing)
3.* 03-06-98 The Stork Club, Oakland
with our good friends Visitor 42
4.* 03-15-98 Club Boomerang, SF
with Dismantle and Lazy Bone
5.* 04-04-98 The Fatty Mocha, Merced
with Gutterburn, and Longshot
6.* 04-05-98 The Fatty Mocha, Merced
with Eric Core, Cell Block 5 and Pansy Division
7.* 04-26-98 Club Boomerang, SF
8.* 05-02-98 The 1st Rock-o-rama, the old Mabuhay on Broadway, SF
with Visitor 42, Romeo's Dead, Simon Stinger, and The Donnas.
Josh had a fever of 100 degrees at this show, "Boy, was I sick. I remember that our friend, Michael Ortiz
came up to me after the show and asked me if I was alright. I had some trouble singing back ups".
During the show, there was no stage manager (at least, not a good one).
There were drum kits and amplifiers everywhere, separated by a thin curtain between the backstage
and the set of drums on the stage in the old, Broadway-area boxing ring.
We had to load our gear out at 2 AM down a rickety old metal fire escape, and then avoid a fight, which started out on
Broadway because some fool in one of the bands wouldn't move his car to let the other bands load out.
9.* 05-03-98 Seals Cove, SF
Josh still sick and we played almost everything we knew after a guy in a wheelchair who knew 500 covers!
10.* 05-30-98 Lindees, Concord
with Spike 1000, Killrush, and Freeload. This show, we got at the last minute, because a friend's band couldn't do it.
We opened up and, needless to say, were not what anyone expected - but it was still alot of fun.
11.* 06-06-98 The Stork Club, Oakland with Apollos of the Ozarks and Shorty Slack -
Josh busted a string for the first time on stage, and had to do the rest of the show imitating Bobby Mcferrin for bass sounds. Actually, I
finished the song, then jumped backstage (which was the kitchen), grabbed my fender, and was ready to go in 30 seconds.
12.* 06-12-98 Hollywood Billiards, SF
with Visitor 42 and the Sawbucks. Nothing like rockin' out in a pool-hall. They told us to turn down.
13.* 06-20-98 The 2nd Annual Monterey Rock and Art Festival
with Cell Block 5, Natural Fonzie, Fingerbang, THC, Eric Core, Castles In Spain, & 30 more bands.
They had all sorts of artists and 4 different stages. In fact, we missed Castles in Spain,
because they were playing almost at the same time as us.
We also went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, I can speak for the band that it was deninately
not worth the $14.00 to get in.
Of course, we went on Father's day, so.... that wasn't such a good idea.... Other notables
during the trip, was the band's
first video, and Dave and Miguel with their brightly colored-hair (Dave with bright blue,
and Miguel with bleached blond not getting any help at Circuit City.), Dave from Cell Block 5
leaving his dirty underwear on the windshield of the rental van, and of course the
"I was ten minutes away from chillin' out" incident at the Motel 6 we stayed at in Oceanside.

14. 07-03-98 Lindees, Concord
with Sugar Boogie and Changing Planes (I think I still have their demo tape)
15.* 07-11-98 The Fatty Mocha, Merced
with The Moon Family, Brown Hornet, and Suit & Tie Guy - Another trip out to the valley.
16. 07-26-98 Toons, San Jose
with Eye Talk and Truth About Seafood
17. 08-11-98 San Francisco Sounds Taping
(aired Oct. '98 and is still in syndication - yes, you heard right, we're in re-runs)
18. 08-12-98 The Stork Club, Oakland
with Learned Hand (acoustic Alex, that's Ler Ned Hand)
19.* 08-14-98 Blakes, Berkeley
with Viciosos and Baby Snufkin
20.* 09-13-98 The Paradise Lounge, SF
with the Willknots and N'handi Brown.
Meeting the Willknots lead to the UC Davis Party and their name refers to a dingle berry
(that will not come off).
21.* 09-24-98 UC Davis Party
with the Willknots. This was a freshman initiation party for all of them.
They blindfolded them, and told them they were breaking into a UC building to get something.
It was just a barn with us about to rock. So they got them all in there and had em take off their blindfolds.
Then we rocked. Or something like that. Damn I wish I had some pics of this.
22.* 10-03-98 The Port LIte, Oakland
with Ignatius Reily, the No-No's,
Dolls for The Millions and Learned Hand
23.* 10-9-98 Lindees, Concord
with The Recruits, Stonesthrow and Mighty 690

25. 10-18-98 The Cat Club, SF
with Cell Block 5 and Kung Fu Grip

28.* 11-12-98 The Tip Top Inn, SF
with Baby Snufkin and Devil James
29.* 12-03-98 The Triangle Lounge, SF

by the International Rescue Committee
30.* 01-14-99 The Quarternote, Sunnyvale
with 5th Limb, Big Wheel
31.* 01-31-99 Club Cocodrie, SF
with Cell Block 5, A.K.A. Nothing, Moral Crux, The Oozies
32.* 02-09-99 The Old Ironsides, Sacramento
I think this might have been where we met Casey of Smarty. Mig was sick.
33.* 02-20-99 The Quarternote, Sunnyvale
with My Tribe and Heavy Pebble.
After this show, we drove north to Portland, Oregon, stoping only at Denny's
(in Redding, I think) for breakfast.
34.* 02-22-99 Music Millenium Record Store, Portland, Oregon
In store live appearance. I don't think people in the Jazz section were expecting a live band that day.
35.* 02-22-99 The Satyricon, Portland, Oregon
with Teeth and The Foundry.
Before this show, we ate at Poncho and the Bandits, a mexican restaurant, where on the menu was,
I kid you not...Chili soup.
Mig popped a string at the end of our set, but was fortunate enough that the other band lent him a guitar.
36.* 02-24-99 Mt. Tabor, Portland, Oregon
with As Is. That's a great name.
37.* 03-05-99 UC Berkeley
Some derelict kept telling Miguel to play a scale (I guess he wanted Migs to solo),
and the campus was testing their PA system that day so as we played their was this
off-in-the-distance reverbed voice, but we kept going! GO BEARS!
38.* 03-20-99 Our CD Release Party at Club Boomerang, SF
with Visitor 42, Simon Stinger, and Telling Downs -
Man, what a party, they even filmed it for an independent film. We debuted our Fros at this show, coming out during the fred sanford show theme and an
inspired intro by Mike Ortiz ("hailing from Pokatelo, Idaho...where they own their own dairy queen")
39.* 04-08-99 Big Shots, Roseville
with Smarty. Our first gig with Smarty, where the friendship began.
40.* 04-10-99 The Lost & Found, SF
with Powerage (an AC/DC cover band). This show featured the death of the Left Out Lamont Ale bottle, a stage prop of ours from time to time.
41.* 04-15-1999 Vintage Days, The Pit, Fresno State
This was the first of our Fresno trips.
42.* 4-16-99 Vintage Days Crafts Faire, Fresno State
They should've had something to cover the stage - we baked in the 100 degree heat that day but we still rocked!
The next time we'll bring sombreros!
43.* 04-16-99 Kappa Sigma Party, Fresno State Fraternity.
44.* 04-17-99 Vintage Days Crafts Faire, Fresno State - It was so hot , that Miguel's sweat drenched
everyone. IT FLOODED THE ENTIRE VALLEY!!! It took a whole week to soak it up , and two months to get rid of the
stench!!!
45.* 05-08-99 The 3rd Annual Monterey Rock and Art Festival
with Cell Block 5, Mockingbird, Wett (damn those chicks were hot), Natural Fonzie and Gene Loves Jezebel plus 30 more bands.
The next day I cut off my long hair.
46. 05-13-99 Video Taping, De Anza College, Cupertino.
My first "gig" without long hair. I didn't know what to do! We also had to
lipsink for this taping (to our CD). It was bad. But really funny. Also recorded was the "Horchata" video where we
switched up our instraments. Horchata was the hidden track on our CD.
47.* 05-21-99 Blake's, Berkeley
with Viciosos and Pomegranate
48.* 06-03-99 Cheers, Vacaville
48.* 06-08-99 Paradise Lounge, San Francisco
with 5th Limb and Thadeus Duke
49.* 06-21-99 Geek Fest, East Park Reservoir, Maxwell CA
During the first song, Dave busted his hand open on one of his cymbols because it was too close,
there was blood everywhere. Then, he used the Port-O-Let and literally had to wrap his hand
up in toilet paper to push down the mountain of lingering waste to have room for his own!
This place was cool, but took a four hours to get to.
50.* 06-26-99 The Boardwalk, Sacramento
with Smarty. This show we were late for, and as soon as we showed up, we had to load on to stage and play.
Dave was pissed. The opening act was a Rage Against The Machine wannabe band.
51. 07-26-99 The Covered Wagon, SF
where Josh broke his back again. I had worked out the day before, and must've pulled something when I
lifted my cabinet onto the stage. Leaving the club that night was pretty slow going and I probably should've
been on a stretcher.
52.* 07-31-99 KALX UC Berkeley Radio Saturday
Left Out Lamont played live on radio station KALX 90.7fm. "It was the fastest 45 minutes I've hosted in a long time"
said Rick Sylvain the host of KALX LIVE! Their set of music was
mostly from their first CD "Come and Get Us", available at performances and on their website.
The set full of pop tunes ended with a favorite
Iguana
.
They did stretch a little when they played "Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown" when requested as an encore.
All in all, Left Out Lamont left Rick Sylvain smiling!
53.* 08-01-99 Marina Community Center, Hayward
with Visitor 42, and a whole lot of other rap and soul acts.
54.* 08-17-99 Hotel Utah, SF
with Dana Carvey's clone, choppin' brocoli
55.* 08-21-99 California State Fair, Sacramento
with Smarty
56.* 08-22-99 Spark in the Park 4, Pacifica
with Dinosaur Salad, Killrush and Freeload. There were bugs everywhere. On the micraphones even.
It was quite a challange to keep from going in your mouth.
57.* 09-10-99 Aleyska Cancer Benefit at The Golden Pacific Brewery, Berkeley
with Castles In Spain and Bitesize.
58.* 09-15-99 The Covered Wagon, SF
with Bite and Frigg-A-Go-Go (all the way from Louisiana)
59.* 09-23-99 University of San Francisco.

60.* 09-25-99 Rock For Refugees, Club Boomerang, SF
with Smarty, Lean, Wire Graffiti, Castles In Spain, Michael Ortiz (whom Dave and Josh backed-up - seen here), Veronica Black, and The Duds. A benefit for Kosovar, Bosnian, and Liberian refugees sponsered by the International Rescue Committee,
61.* 09-30-99 Chabot College, Hayward
62.* 10-6-99 Kimo's SF
with Michael Ortiz, Wire Graffiti, and Zipnada (they had a really cool song called 'Slider'!)
63.* 10-17-99 Hotel Utah, SF
with Wire Graffiti and Lean
64.* 10-20-99 Masses Sports Cafe, Pleasanton
(We played the greatest show of our lives!, ...uh.......er.... I mean we played
for three hours.) Miguel's PA broke so 90% of the set were instramentals. It was cool!
65.* 11-10-99 KZSU 90.1FM Stanford
Radio Wednesday Night Live, Palo Alto
66.* 11-13-99 Cable Access Channel 6

69. 11-18-99 (Midnight) Club Cocodrie
with Dryspell (Al, the bass player of this band, would later join Miguel and Dave after I
left the band), Stiff Richards and more...
Somehow, we managed to play two shows in one night! Insane.

with UVR, Divit, and one more band.
81. 04-08-2000 Paradise Lounge, SF
Debut and screening of film PERMANENT THUNDER.
With Visitor 42, Erik Core, Simon Stinger, Blue Period, Venus Bleeding, and A Random Act.
And Lean was playing upstairs. The now defunct, SpinRecords.com was there to video us and the other bands signed
with them (LOL, Simon Stinger, Blue Period and Lean). What a great show!

83. * 04-28-2000 Fresno State's 25th ann. Vintage Days
84.* 04-28-2000 Fresno State Vintage Days Battle of the Bands

85.* 05-06-2000 Muscular Dystrophy Benefit, Alpha Kappa Lambda House, University of the Pacific, Stockton.
With Doctor Rocket and the Moon Patrol, Who is Adam Parker?, Neil Sore Skins, others.

Like David, Severence, Leisure Sport, Davidian, Betty Rage,
Doctor Rocket and the Moon Patrol, The Council, Novacain, Agent Orange and many more bands.
This was the night after the Boomerang gig, and we were playing this night as well in Sacramento.
Dave and I also performed (my first show playing electric guitar)
with members of Dr rocket for form Novacain with it's leader on Sax,
the promoter of the show, Middah Goodwin.
It was a noise band and we could play anything we wanted.
I think we had about 60 people watching us. Maybe a bit more
but we were quite a spectactle.
Click here to hear some of it.
88.* 05-13-2000 Bojangles, Sacramento
with Smarty. While moving the gear on to the stage in the club, somebody dropped my bass cabinet on my foot.
For awhile I thought it was broke (actually, I think I did break bones in my foot), but learned I could generate healing
current. As I went out to the van to be by myself, I focused on healing my foot, by running energy through it. I didn't
know it at the time, but that's exactly what I was doing (see Kathara for more info.)
89.* 06-03-2000 The Fishbowl, Sunnyvale
with Dr. Rocket and the Moon Patrol (yes, again), Ray-Guns (from Kansas), Manic Notion, and Anti-45 and once again...

93. O6-24-2000 Simon Stinger party
with Fontain's Muse, A Random Act and, of course, Simon Stinger. We went to the party, but didn't expect to play. I think
we played about five songs, mostly, if not all, covers.
94. 06-25-2000 San Francisco Sounds taping
(never aired due to camera difficulties. And that's just as well as we didn't play too good)
xx. O7-15-2000 The 4th annual Monterey Rock & Art Festival
This would have been our 95th show had we made it there. Dave's van broke down on highway 85 in San Jose.
Oops! The boys from Lean were nice enough to stop and help, but we couldn't all fit in their truck,
so we had to cancel and get towed back. Mig went ahead with Lean to the gig, as Dave and I spent the rest of the day
getting towed back to SF, via San Jose, then Daly City. It was a long day.
95. O7-29-2000 Paradise Lounge
with Erik Core, Simon Stinger, Kindness, Visitor 42, 20 Minute Loop, and The

140. July 21st, Mr T's Bowl, Pasedena, CA
This gig was a tough one. First, we had spent the night before driving down to LA. Stayed at a friends place and didn't
get much sleep. Then, when we got to the gig, a film festival was going on and we were supposed to play after that.
But then, the house band played for a really long time. We went on after one am, and played one of our best gigs ever.
141. July 22nd, The Coconut Teaser, Hollywood
I remember at this gig, the soundman put all sorts of reverb and delay on Mig's voice. It sucked!
142. July 23rd, The Dragonfly, Hollywood
Burst Music Productions Battle of the Bands

143. July 28th, Stockton Benefit
Back to the skatepark. This wasn't quite as memorable as 2001, but this time we played on the big stage and got a huge
response, but at least we didn't break down in Lodi, and no one dropped any cabinets on my feet.
144. September, Dragonfly, Hollywood - Battle of the runners up

149. November 17th, Paradise Lounge, SF

150. Pound SF, December 15th, Battle of the Bands
This was not supposed to be our last gig together, but it ended up that way. I left the band in early 2002 for a myriad
of personal reasons. One of the being that I needed a break from the band, and I did not want to hold Mig or Dave back
in anyway. At the time I made that decision, we did have other gigs booked in February and March of 2002, which I had
intended to play, but they ended up getting cancelled.
